Frequently asked questions

There's nothing to download or install. They tap the tag near your till and their loyalty card opens in the browser, the same way a website opens. If they can open a link on their phone, they can use this. We've seen customers in their 70s pick it up on the first try.
No. Staff don't touch it at all. Customers do everything themselves on their own phone. Your team just keeps doing what they're already doing.
Not at all. Back Again works completely independently from your POS, your Wi-Fi, everything. You're live in minutes without changing your existing setup.
The NFC tag sits right next to the till where they pay. It becomes part of the routine, like tapping their card. Most cafes find that once a few regulars start doing it, the rest follow. You can also print a QR code as a backup for anyone whose phone doesn't support NFC.
Every stamp requires a tap on the NFC sign at your counter, and each tap is verified on our servers before a stamp is awarded. Customers can't stamp their own cards from home, and there's a built-in cooldown so the same person can't tap twice in a row. You'll never give away a free coffee that wasn't honestly earned.
Right after a customer earns a reward and feels great about your cafe, Back Again shows them a gentle prompt to leave a Google review. The timing makes all the difference. You never have to ask anyone yourself.
That's the whole point. Back Again notices when someone goes quiet and sends them a "we miss you" email from your cafe, automatically. You set the rules once (for example, email after 14 days of no visits) and it runs on its own, forever.
No contract, no lock-in, no cancellation fee. It's completely free for your first 50 customers. After that it's $39 a month, and you can cancel anytime with no questions asked.
