How the free tier works
There's no time-limited trial to remember. Back Again is free while you have fewer than 50 loyalty customers on your program. For most cafés, that's the first 4-8 weeks. Enough time to set up your NFC sign, watch your regulars sign up, and see whether the platform is right for your café.
When you hit customer #50, we email you and switch you over to the $39/month plan. Every feature stays exactly the same. The only thing that changes is billing.
If you decide Back Again isn't right for your café at any point, cancel with a click. No fine print, no exit fee, no dark patterns.

How much does Back Again cost?
Back Again is free until your café signs up its first 50 loyalty customers. After that it's $39/month AUD with no lock-in. That includes unlimited customers, unlimited stamps, the NFC sign posted to your café, automated emails, AI Content Studio, and Google review prompts.
Is there a free trial or free tier?
Yes. It's genuinely free for your first 50 customers, not a time-limited trial. You only start paying once your loyalty program has crossed the 50-customer mark, which for most cafés takes 4-8 weeks. That's plenty of time to see whether Back Again is right for your café before committing to the $39/month.
Do I need to enter a credit card to start?
No. Sign up with your name, café name, and email. We post you an NFC sign. Only when your loyalty program crosses 50 customers do we ask for payment details.
Are there any hidden fees or per-transaction costs?
No. $39/month covers everything: unlimited customers, unlimited stamps, all the automations, the AI Content Studio, and the NFC sign. There are no per-stamp fees, no per-email fees, no add-ons.
How does the NFC sign get to me?
Once you sign up we express-post an NFC sign to your café address. It usually arrives within 3-5 business days across Australia. Setup takes about 10 minutes after that.
Can I cancel Back Again anytime?
Yes. No contract, no cancellation fee, no lock-in period. Cancel from your dashboard with one click. If you cancel mid-month you keep access until the end of the billing period.
What happens if I don't pay?
If your payment fails, we'll email you and pause your automations for a few days while you update the card. Nothing gets deleted. Your customer data stays safe.
Do you offer discounts for multiple cafés?
Yes. If you run more than one café location, get in touch at hello@backagain.au for group pricing. We're happy to work something out.
How does Back Again's pricing compare to other café loyalty systems?
Back Again at $39/month sits in the mid-range of café loyalty platforms.
